Extrusion lines for the production of profiles The long-standing experience in plastic processing allows Bausano to ensure high performance and great reliability over time. Beisu single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines allow producing rigid and flexible profiles with different weights and dimensions - from a few grams to several kilogrammes/metre, from a few millimetres to more than one metre width.

The profile extrusion method provides an efficient and economical method to produce plastic parts and products. Extrusion is a more efficient method because it eliminates the mold part. Of course, extruding profiles with Beisu's single - or twin-screw extruders gives the final manufacturer the possibility to create a variety of shapes, thicknesses, hardness, sizes, colors and textures.
Profile products generally do not have uniform wall thickness, the reason is simply that the mechanical need to place the material in a certain position to meet the requirements of the project. The goal of Bausano technical designers is to have the right form and material quantity to meet the customer's requirements. Uneven shape has always been a feature of profiles, for example, in window profiles, the outer wall is always thicker than the inner web, which is used to stabilize the profile during cooling. Profiles can be more difficult to run because there is no mold adjustment, and the different shapes associated with each product require modifications to downstream equipment.

Beisu has studied all the challenges of profile extrusion, and its E-GO single-screw and MD Nextmover twin-screw series meet every customer requirement. Therefore, the only major disadvantage of profile extrusion is the limitation of design possibilities, which is due to the linear nature of the process. But the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, for example, it is a cheap process and various product combinations are possible.
One of the most important parts of a good profile extrusion is the profile die design, which is done within Beisu's technical department to meet the thickness parameters of a good profile and to successfully extrude a variety of possible profile plastic materials.
